    Despite a delay of three weeks Week 15 of Project 52 is on and set to air this weekedend on The Peninsula of Horror, the Showcase of Florida's Finest Horror Hosts.

    The fun kicks off tonight at 12:00 AM Midnight Eastern as Master Vyle and his Video Dungeon Fiends bring you The Scarlet Letter on Midnight Shock Theater.  It's that Nathinel Hawthorne classic's 1934 film version, brought to you as only Master Vyle can.  And as always, Mature Audeinces only.

    Then tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 PM Eastern, for the TV-PG 14-ish crowd, it's another double dose of Horrible Old Featured Creatures on Master Vyle's Creature Feature.  This time out Master Vyle and his Video Dungeon Fiends bring you that Roger Coorman classic The Wasp Woman, as well as that Arch Hall Jr. vehicle (we're pretty sure it's a dune buggy), Eegah! starring Richard "Jaws" Kiel.

    As many of you fiends may know Dr. Paul Bearer was the local horror host who influenced myself and many of my fellow Florida horror hosts to get into horror hosting.  He was the host of Creature Feature and Shock Theater, as well as several other shows, in a career which spanned from 1965 until his passing in 1995.  For many years Doctor Xombie's good fiend Roger Boyes, author of Dr. Paul Bearer's Creature Feature, has been keeping the spirit of Dr. Paul Bearer alive.  As well as writing a book about Dr. Paul Bearer he has been the curator of a Dr. Paul Bearer WEBsite, which he currently is in the process of reVAMPing.  Be sure to check it out to learn a little more about one of the nation's most famous and influential horror host.  As of late Mr. Boyes has been updating the photographic archive with photos of Dr. Paul Bearer through the years.

    Tales from the Dump Episode 4: Jigsaw (But Not the Good One) has returned from PURGE-atory for your viewing pleasure.  Morris the Maggot is set to show the final movie in the Saw franchise when he learns that the movie is actually a 1949 Crime Noir tale about a White Supremacist Plot, or something or other.  Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for blink and you will miss them cameos by Henry Fonda, Burgess Meredith and other big name stars. 

 

Project 52 Week 15 Postponed and Seasons' End

     Sorry, Fiends and Fright Fans, but due to illness this week's episodes of Midnight Shock Theater and Master Vyle's Creature Feature will be postponed until next week.  I also regret to inform you that the episodes for Week 18 will serve as the first season finales for both shows.

    This was a very ambitious undertaking on my part.  The outbreak of COVID in early 2020 was the first of many things to derail me from completing Project 52.  For a time I had decided that I was not going to be producing any shows other than the first ten I had filmed, but then I changed my mind at pretty much the 11th hour, knowing that it would pretty much take only one or two things happening to prevent me from making my goal.  As I have stated my YouTube ban is for the most part a nuisance, however, even that has led to my production schedule being delayed.

    The early end to, and failure to meet my goal of producing two shows for all 52 weeks of 2021, I feel, was an unfortunate inevitably.  It was just a matter of time, however that did not keep me from making an attempt.  And, of CORPSE, I am far from done.

    I will continue working on a second attempt at Project 52 to begin the first week of January 2023.  2023 is the tenth anniversary of the debut of the first official episode of House of Master Vyle Presents, as well as the tenth anniversary year of Doctor Xombie's Friday Night Fright and the launch of The Peninsula of Horror.

    In the meantime this will also free up time to produce new episodes of House of Master Vyle Presents, The Golden Horde, Tales from the Dump and It's the Great Grumplin's Show, all of which I had to cease production in an attempt to complete 52 weeks of Midnight Shock Theater and Creature Feature.  All I have left to say is I am not sad about having to close out the first seasons of these shows a lot earlier than expected, because I promise you the BEAST is yet to come.

Project 52 Week 14 Featured Creatures

    This weekend celebrate the EEK-ster Season with Master Vyle and his Video Dungeon Fiends on The Peninsula of Horror, the showcase of Florida's finest horror hosts. 

    It all begins Friday night at 12:00 AM Midnight Eastern, as Master Vyle and his Video Dungeon Fiends present The Terror on Midnight Shock Theater starring Boris Karloff, Jack Nicholson and Dick Miller.

    Then  at 12:00 PM Noon Eastern Master Vyle and his Video Dungeon Fiends present Night of the Living Dead & Carnival of Souls on Master Vyle's Creature Feature.
